Keeping up with TDAD #1


So we are deep into the development cycle and after a suceesful pre-dev sign up on Itch; the Dark After Games Team has beeen hard at work, preparing the game for Kickstarter.   

Meaning we have manyy awesome secrets /Art and even fiction in the bag ! We are keen to find some opportunties to share some juicy teasers, arts so hopefully we can announce something soon.  

As for TDAD itself; part of our process has been making the original SRD match the theme/original fiction of the game itself;, and making sure it retains the modern mystical chaotic horror sandbox for players to enjoy. And by jenjoy; i mean pushing both the limits of te players and the game itself. 

 It has meant that some initial ideas for mechanics have disappeeard, other have been reinforced, while some we never would have dreamed of putting in the game before. Are suddenly taking shape. It is still a "Rules light system" at this point and we have no real desire to change that fact.   

One example is a minimal skill system;  a more more detailed Magick system  and improving the faction dynamics.    

We have some external playtesters; test the mechanics also. And had soe amazing feedback!  

Hoefully within the next month and a half we will be able to make that more public; and invite some people to private sessions.  

Still plenty of work to go and this first blog was quite cryptic but we hope to do some big reveals some day soon.
